I think it's harder to find similarities as we are so different to Seedlip we look very different, we taste different, and we focus on the functional elements and the active compounds of what we put into our drinks. Lemon balm, valerian and hops entwine with complex notes of oak and vanilla it’s best served on the rocks or in an old-fashioned-type serve. With the Nightcap, we think of it as the perfect end to the evening. It’s best served at the beginning of the night in spritz style. Powered by guayusa, schisandra and energising plants, it has green herbs and fruits on the nose with a juicy flavour of watermelon and guava with some ginger and chilli. The Livener is the perfect party-starter or aperitif. It’s got fermented coconut, molasses and dry spice with a flavour profile that reminds many of a dark rum, but with powerful plants like Lion’s Mane mushroom and cacao. The espresso martini serve is amazing and you can add 5ml of rum if you want a super low-alcohol option. With the Social Elixir, I would always start by keeping it simple, so mixing with ginger ale, or ginger kombucha. Whilst you can enjoy them on their own, they are versatile drinks which is why bartenders at places like the Connaught, Nightjar and Soho House have listed us on their cocktail menus. The drinks brand calls itself a “non-alcoholic social elixir”, and the three young founders have worked with leading bartenders, herbalists and plant scientists to create a new, natural alternative to alcohol. In their first three months alone, Three Spirit made it onto the menu of 50 leading restaurants and cocktail bars around London, including Roka, Tredwells, the Sanderson Hotel, White City House and Nightjar.
