For example, in Tier 2 they can unlock the Ice Box, which allows prospectors to drastically reduce the rate that food decays. Some status effects are negative (like Dysentery) while others are very beneficial.Īs prospectors progress, they will unlock more efficient ways of storing and obtaining food. Prospectors will have a variety of foods to choose from, and several can offer unique Status Effects when eaten. The most common, early-game food is Wild Berry, which also help replenish the thirst meter when consumed. Prospectors replenish their hunger meter by eating Food Items. If the thirst meter becomes too low, prospectors will have a reduced rate of stamina regeneration, and eventually begin losing Health. Like Oxygen and Thirst, hunger must be replenished on a regular basis, or the prospector will begin to experience increasingly negative effects. Unlike Iron Crop Plots and Hydroponic Crop Plots, the Wood Crop Plot cannot be connected to a Water Pump. The Wood Crop Plot can be watered by right-clicking the plot while holding a Liquid Container or by leaving the plot exposed to the elements. After they reach Level 10, prospector can then create the Crafting Bench. The Wood Crop Plot is a farming plot for growing Plant Resources. This early, basic crafting occurs in the prospectors inventory: a variety of items can be made in this way, from the Stone Knife, various early Arrows, and the Bedroll and Campfire, essential to a good night's sleep. Many early crafting recipes are made with Stone, Wood and Sticks, supplemented with Fiber and Leather. Amongst the first blueprints enabled are the Stone Axe and the Stone Pickaxe, and they form the foundation of crafting on Icarus.
